The Pontesbury Project provides supported living services for adults with autism and learning disabilities in our residencies within the Rea Valley area of Shropshire and is looking to recruit Support Workers to join our team.
As a Support Worker you will assist the people we support with routine personal and domestic tasks, including personal care, household tasks including cleaning, cooking and participating in their chosen activities within the local community. Full-time hours are available and flexible working arrangements will be considered. Shifts will be worked on a rota basis spread across mornings, afternoons and sleep ins, including weekends and bank holidays.
Are you flexible, caring, enthusiastic, friendly, and passionate about providing high-quality, specialist support? If so, we want to hear from you! Previous experience of working in a similar role is desirable although not essential as a comprehensive training package will be provided. It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence.
In addition to competitive rates of pay starting from £22,084 per annum (£11.32 per hour), other benefits include:

THE PONTESBURY PROJECT provides person-centred support to a range of people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that may challenge in our residencies within the Rea Valley area of Shropshire.
We are currently recruiting Positive Behaviour Support Workers to join our team. The role involves assisting the people we support with routine personal and domestic tasks and chosen activities to enable them to live as independently as possible.
We are looking for someone who is caring, resilient, possesses good communication skills and is confident to work as part of a team and lone work on occasion. If you have previous experience of positive behaviour management and working with people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs then we are keen to hear from you.
Full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) are available and flexible working arrangements will be considered. Shifts will be worked on a rota basis spread across mornings, afternoons and sleep ins, including weekends and bank holidays.
In addition to competitive rates of pay starting from £23,818 per annum (£12.21 per hour), other benefits include:
- £56.70 for sleep in duties and double time on bank holidays
